Votanikon contains herbs that can be found in most gorges, mountains and sunny island trails throughout Greece. You see, this country has one of the most diverse flora on earth. And yet, this may sound exotic to you, these amazing herbs are still present in most Greek cuisines. Some of the herbs contained in gin are mountain tea from Olympus, basil and dittany from Crete, juniper from the mountains of Macedonia, Kozani Crocus saffron, Chios Mastic, citrus and chamomile from the Peloponnese, oregano from Mani and sage on Amorgos.
