Agioritiko ABATON (said avaton and it means "the holy and sacred place where one must not walk") is produced from three varieties: Xinomavro, Grenache and Limnio. It is a wine that comes from Mount Athos.
Its colour is deep ruby. On the nose, we can smell aromas of red fruits with hints of spices and on the palate, it is rich with powerful tannins and a long finish.
The wine is aged for 10 months in French oak barrels and then aged for at least 6 months in the bottle.
It will go perfectly with your dishes of red meat, cooked vegetables, potatoes and pasta, sausages and hard and soft cheeses.
