Ypsilon Moschofilero is a refined dry white wine, made from the indigenous Greek Moschofilero grape variety, famous for its floral aromas and fresh character. Cultivated in the high altitude vineyards of the Peloponnese, this wine expresses all the finesse and elegance of the Greek terroir.
It has a pale yellow colour with silvery reflections, evoking freshness and is very aromatic with notes of orange blossom, rose, and jasmine, accompanied by nuances of citrus (lime, grapefruit) and a slight touch of green apple. It has a crisp acidity that supports delicate white-fleshed fruit and citrus flavours. A subtle minerality on the finish brings elegant length and a pleasant feeling of lightness.
Moschofilero pairs perfectly with light Mediterranean dishes, such as grilled fish, seafood, summer salads, or Greek mezze like tzatziki and dolmas. It is also ideal as an aperitif.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for health. To consume with moderation.
