Τhe story of "Voskopoula" begins in 1907 when the first generation of the family, led by Panagis Kappatos, begins the trade of the household milk, transporting it with special containers from Dilinata, her place of residence, in Argostoli, Kefalonia. The quality of the milk and the dedication to its preservation, resulted in an increase in demand, resulting in the transfer of the family from the village to the city. Thus, in 1910 and having acquired a permanent base in Argostoli, the Kappatos family founded the first confectionery in Kefalonia, "Voskopoula". From a dairy in the beginning, the company grows and is established in the heart of the city, expanding the range of its sweets and incorporating in it the traditional sweets of the island.
One generation succeeds the other and hopefully it has reached today, with the fourth generation at the helm. In the course of history, the face of "Voskopoula" remains unchanged a patisserie that insists on the quality and offer of the best Kefalonian sweets to locals and visitors to the island.
With love for the work and with experience of more than a hundred years, "Voskopoula" assures us that quality is not a secret, but that quality has its secret!
