Melicera

Melicera is a small family business in Trikala, where Asklepios - the god of Medicine - was born in 1247 BC. The beekeeping tradition of the company began in 1985 with the father of the family who is a beekeeper. The company was born from the desire to produce an excellent quality, without additional chemical honey, as collected from the honeycomb, "4 Anemoi" (Winds) honey.

Honey "4 Anemoi" owes its name to the four points of the horizon, as Melicera supports nomadic beekeeping. The hives move, during the year from the north to the south and from the west to the east, to offer delicate honey flavors from all regions of Greece.

Melicera also makes other honey-based products such as loukoum, candles, chocolate and cookies, among others.
