Mastiqua

Mastiqua is the brand of sparkling water made from Mastiha, this delicious resin that is only found on the greek island of Chios. Without sugar and completely natural, combining all the benefits of Mastiha, Mastiqua is resolutely unique!

Its inspirer is Dimitris Steinhauer, who, influenced by the global trend towards sparkling and aromatic waters, decided to use mastic from Chios as a basis for a Greek product of this type and that is how Mastiqua was born. It appeared in the markets as a pilot in February 2012, but the good reception officially brought it to the shelves in early 2013.

In 2013, it was ranked among the four most popular products throughout America. The American market was the first major entry, but its presence in the Middle East and the United Arab Emirates is also very promising, as, as a non-alcoholic beverage, it conforms to the religious requirements of these countries, while mastic as a material is due to geographical location and proximity to the Mediterranean, familiar to the population there.
