Lelia

"Lelia Foods SA" was created in 1989 by the Bogiatzis family in Kalamata, as a follow-up to "Astron Messinia SA", a historical olive oil production company. Lelia olives became sought after thanks to their innovative packaging in aluminum bags with the addition of extra virgin olive oil.

In 2013 the company Lelia merged with ELLINIKI GI TROFIMA LTD, a traditional greek company for the packaging of extra virgin olive oil that since 2009 produces the very successful brand Esti with exports to 25 countries around the world and was acquired by the Ifantis group of companies.

Its facilities are located on an area of ​​12 acres in Kalochori, Avlida and operate based on high ISO quality standards. The factory has 4 automated production lines for packaging of olives, olive oil, olive paste and other agricultural products. The high quality of the products, the strengthening of the greek tradition and the innovation, in combination with the sensitivity and the respect for the environment are the most important pillars, on which the philosophy and the vision of the company are based.
