Babatzimopoulos - Distillery

The Babatzim family company was founded in 1875 in Constantinople, by Anestis Babatzimopoulos, maintaining privately owned vineyards in Dellies of Silivria. With the exchange of populations in 1922 he came to Chrysoupoli, Kavala. Since then, the company continues, always based in Chrysoupoli in the Department of Kavala, to produce genuine and traditional ouzo and tsipouro with the same taste and with the same unique recipe of its founder. The family secret of distillation travels from generation to generation, starting in 1875 and produces spirits that capture in every drop the aromatic and delicious richness of the grapes and their place of origin.
