The 1959 PGI Florina Rosé is a delicate and refined dry rosé wine, made from an elegant blend of Syrah and Merlot, two grape varieties that flourish fully in the high altitude vineyards of the Florina region. This rosé embodies a perfect harmony between Greek tradition and modern know-how.
It is a wine with a bright pink color with slightly salmon reflections and on the nose it is expressive and complex mixing aromas of strawberry, raspberry and cherry. It is well balanced with lively acidity that supports generous flavours of red fruits, redcurrant and pomegranate. The texture is silky, and the finish is elegant.
The 1959 rosé is ideally combined with Mediterranean dishes such as mezze, mixed salads, grilled seafood or white meats. It also lends itself to convivial moments as an aperitif.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for health. To consume with moderation.
