A wonderful spring salad with strawberries and grilled manouri cheese !
Ingredients
- 400 g green salad (spinach, arugula)
- 200 g manouri cheese PDO
- 1 cup strawberries
- 100 g unsalted nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios of Aigina)
- 3 teaspoons organic extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon premium balsamic vinegar with honey
- salt
Making
First, wash the salad leaves, dry them well, put them in a salad bowl and add salt.
Then, wash the strawberries, clean them and cut them into quarters. Add them to the salad bowl.
Then, cook the manouri cheese PDO in a hot pan for about 2 minutes on each side until it forms a crust.
Then, add the nuts.
Then, we cut the manouri cheese PDO into two equal parts and put it crosswise one piece on top of the other in the salad or we can cut it into cubes!
Finally, add the organic extra virgin olive oil and premium balsamic vinegar with honey.
