Oven roasted chicken

A very easy and simple recipe to prepare baked chicken at home that everyone will love!

First, preheat the oven to 200°C.

If necessary, remove the giblets and the neck if they are included.

Put the chicken in a baking dish and season generously with salt and pepper inside and out.

Place the two cloves of garlic, the bay leaves and the lemon cut into two pieces inside the chicken.

Brush the outside of the chicken with the extra virgin olive oil and then sprinkle the thyme, oregano, rosemary and mustard powder.

You can sprinkle the chicken with the spice seasoning all over the surface of the chicken.

Place the dish in the oven and cook for about 1 hour 30 minutes, or until the chicken is nicely browned.

Baste the chicken with its juices as often as possible during cooking (add water if necessary).

Let the chicken rest for 10 to 15 minutes before cutting into pieces and serving.
