This youvetsi is a very tasty dish and full of vitamins for young and adults even if they do not like vegetables so much !
Ingredients
- 400 g kritharaki, small greek pasta
- 100 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 300 g white mushroomsκομμένα σε ροδέλες
- 1 small broccoli
- 1 chopped red pepper
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 200 g chopped tomatoes or cherry tomatoes
- 800 ml hot water
- 200 g gruyere in small cubes
- salt

Making
Preheat the oven to 200. C. Cut the mushrooms into slices, finely chop the onion and garlic clove, and finally cut the cherry tomatoes or tomatoes, red pepper and broccoli.
In a large pot, heat the premium olive oil over high heat and sauté the mushrooms for 4-5 minutes, until golden brown.
Then, add the onion, garlic and broccoli to the pot, continuing to sauté for another 4 minutes.
Add the tomato, pepper, sugar, salt and pepper, lower the heat a little and cook for 8-10 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Then add the kritharaki and hot water, mix well for 1 minute and pour the contents into a baking dish.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the kritharaki is soft and absorbs the liquids.
You need to mix the kritharaki often and if necessary add more hot water.
When the kritharaki is ready, take the dish out of the oven. Pour the cheese on top and put it back in the oven until the cheese softens.
Serve with a beer or a glass of white wine !
