Lamb chops (païdakia) are a dish that the Greeks prepare to celebrate, for the day of Tsiknopempti or for a meal with friends !
Ingredients
- 1 kg lamb chops
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 lemons cut in 4
- 1 lemon (the juice)
- parsley
- salt
- pepper
Making

Mix the lemon juice, olive oil and oregano and pour over the chops placed in a shallow pan.

Let them marinate for 3 hours, turning them from time to time.

Grill them (preferably on the barbecue with charcoal), basting with the remaining olive oil, lemon juice and oregano.

Salt, pepper and decorate with the lemon pieces and parsley.
